The Pyrenees
The Pyrenees Mountains are a long and spectacular range, straddling the French-Spanish border from the Mediterranean to the Atlantic. They offer walking of all levels of difficulty from valley based routes to those leading up through mountain villages to mountain pastures and onto the higher peaks, most of which are accessible to walkers, some with a little scrambling. I have trekked and have experience in leading groups all along the Pyrenees including in (from east to west) in Catalonia, Andorra, Aragon and the lower Pyrenees in Navarra and the Basque Country.
I devise itineraries to suit customers requirements from a weekend up to 2 weeks or more. Typically we would stay in pleasant local hotels and bed and breakfasts, though camping is possible.
